Michelle M. Lock, Publisher:
A U.S. Army veteran, Lock graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in media communications. After college, Lock entered the association management field as a statewide meeting planner then transitioned into organization publication management. While her background in the hospitality industry began behind the front desk and as a night auditor 19 years ago, she has been in the magazine industry for more than 12 years. Lock worked with the Florida Restaurateur (now the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Magazine), the official publication of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, building it from the ground up. From 1998 to 2005, Lock had served as the advertising manager for the Florida Hotel & Motel Journal, the official publication of the Florida Hotel & Motel Association (now known as Southern Hospitality Magazine). Lock's other publication work includes: FAAST Access and Restaurant Forum.  Lock will be heading up the sales force and the main contact for advertising in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.

Susan Trainor, Managing Editor:  Susan Trainor is a freelance editor in Tallahassee, Fla., who specializes in providing editing and proofing services to small businesses and nonprofit associations. Since 1990 she has provided her services to a wide range of clients, including medical and professional societies, trade groups, management firms and nonprofit associations. Prior to going into business for herself, she was the communications director for a statewide professional association. She also has communications experience in the corporate environment, having worked for TRW Inc. and ACI in Bellevue, Wash. She brings 25 years of writing and editing experience to her current position as Managing Editor of Convention Forum magazine.

Debbie Dewell, Creative Director of Great Minds, Inc: A graphic design company focusing on marketing and design focusing on new and existing companies and associations.  For over 20 years, this creative team has exceeded the expectations of clients all over the United States.  With a personal touch, Great Minds, Inc has demonstrated their talents - keeping the image of clients as their focus.  Great Minds, Inc has been working in the hospitality industry for over 17 years, developing publications and trade show materials for many associations.
